The Miss Delaware’s Young Diamonds Program is an official state chapter of the Miss America's 'Little Sisters' Mentoring Program, an extraordinary opportunity for young girls age 5-13 to participate in the Miss America and Miss America's Teen program as the youngest ambassadors of our women's empowerment initiatives.

At the heart of the 'Little Sisters' program lies the four points of the Miss America crown, representing scholarship, service, style, and success, all on a foundation of sisterhood.

Young Diamonds will participate in a production number with Miss Delaware and Miss Delaware’s Teen, escorting Miss & Teen contestants during the evening gown competition, and the opportunity to participate in events with our state & local titleholders year round.

All participants receive an official Miss America’s Little Sisters state crown, the official Miss America’s Little Sister “Young Diamonds” sash, t-shirt, a ticket to the Miss Delaware & Miss Delaware’s Teen competitions, and more!

Outside of the competition, Young Diamonds have the opportunity to participate in parades (with our State and Local titleholders), as well as a variety of community service projects.
